about

A laid back, dreamy song with a touch of melancholy. Essentially a folk song with a hint of trip hop influence. Female fronted lyrics are about how the singer travels to the mountains, to the city, the forest, and the moor, but she is always drawn back to her home: the water. This is sensitively
supported by vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, ukuleles, piano, strings, cajon percussion and electric bass.

about

The Fox and the Owl Bournemouth, UK

Influenced by a variety of genres we are a folk band who often draw from Reggae and Blues (both great folk genres) for our sound.

Originally we played mostly covers but these days our songs are written by the band, crafted with many a environmental, social and politically influenced lyric.

We play because we like it. We hope you like it too.
